Caja abierta 104: OSPREY ADVENTURES. Sinbad The Sailor

I can show some illustrations more I've done for 'OSPREY ADVENTURES', belonging to 'Sinbad The Sailor' book of 'Myths and Legends'collection. If you are interested in this book, you can find it on sale on OSPREY's website
The illustration I show you today refers to Sinbad's third voyage, when he and other shipmates are captured by a very repulsive giant to be part of giant's delicious meal.
This illustration is a double-page and full of details. I enjoyed a lots doing it, especially doing the 'still life' of the background and the texture of giant's skin. This giant is very repugnant, I know, but he has to be like that. Although, because of darkness we don't see all repulsive features of giant's face with clearly.

I also show on my 'attic' (blog) the sketch of this illustration. I know some people likes seeing this things. You can see that background of the finished illustration and of the sketch are different. I had to do this change because the book author indicated it. It was better like that, because I had more space to work the 'still life' of the background.
But I think it's interesting to see this change or sketch, so I show it here to you. ^_^.
